It's National Hot Toddy Day, so we're celebrating in style by bringing you the hottest new recipe from Art in the Age. Here's our spin on the most classic hot cocktail there is...drink up!
- 2 oz Kinsey Rye Whiskey
- 1/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 Teaspoons BG Reynolds Rich Demerara
- 6 Cloves
- 1 Lemon Wheel
- Boiling Water
Prep your garnish by inserting the cloves in a lemon wheel. Preheat a mug by filling it with hot water. Discard the hot water, and then fill the mug halfway with fresh boiling water (approximately 6 ounces). Add the demerara, lemon juice, and whiskey, stirring to combine. Garnish with the prepared lemon wheel and serve.
