Join us for an evening with Selma Slabiak in celebration of the release of her book, Spirit of the North: Cocktail Recipes and Stories from Scandinavia. Born and raised in Denmark, Slabiak has spent the last decade in bartending positions at various esteemed cocktail bars in Manhattan and Brooklyn including a Head Bartender tenure at Michelin star Nordic restaurant Aska.
The Scandinavian contemporary-cultural quest to create that "just right" feeling is prevalent throughout Selbiak's inventive recipes that weave together her experience in the industry with nostalgic stories of her childhood.
Event is FREE to attend! There will be a special cocktail menu for the evening inspired by recipes from the book. (Pay as you go). RSVP by clicking the ticket link below.
