Just in time for National Rum Day (August 16th), AITA has released a brand new spirit from our partners New Liberty Distillery: Dreadnought Aged Rum!

Almost a century ago, in the same Kensington neighborhood where this rum was made, William Cramp started a small family owned business that eventually became one of the most important shipyards in America. From the first clipper ships that put us on the map in 1898 to the mighty Dreadnoughts that helped win WWI, the Cramp Shipyard built the American Dream. This aged rum is our salute to the men who built the ships and the sailors who rode them to sea.

Dreadnought Aged Rum is aged at least 1 year in used oak barrels. Notes of caramel on the nose, a hint of spice and oak with a smooth, clean, and light mouth feel and vanilla finish.

In keeping with our summer long Tiki celebration, we'll be featuring two Tiki cocktails using Aged Dreadnought! Stop in and enjoy an Aged Dreadnought Mai Tai or Planter's Punch.
