Our Cocktail of the Week is the perfect fireside elixir. We're using the newest addition to the tasting room, Shane Confectionery Cacao Whiskey, in this chocolatey treat.
- 1 ½ oz Shane Confectionery Cacao Whiskey
- 8 oz Thomas Jefferson’s Drinking Chocolate
- 2 Dashes Cinnamon Bitters
- 2 Drops Natural Vanilla Extract
Fill your serving mugs with hot tap water and set aside. In a small sauce pan, warm milk and slowly whisk in Thomas Jefferson's Drinking Chocolate according to directions on bottle (whisk constantly to avoid burning/sticking to the bottom). Once drinking chocolate has blended into the milk, remove it from heat and add cinnamon bitters and natural vanilla extract. Empty the warmed serving mugs. While they are still hot, add 1½ oz Shane Confectionery Cacao Whiskey, and top with hot cocoa mixture.
