Introducing Art in the Age Cherry Bounce — coming to the tasting room February 7th!

Dating back to the 17th century, Cherry Bounce was a favorite drink of George Washington, who enjoyed the brandy-based recipe made by his wife, Martha. Nowadays, we like to sip this rye-based version over ice, or in a cocktail like the Cherry Smash.

Starting with Martha’s original recipe, we crafted a spirit true to history, yet truly unique. We used fresh Montmorency cherries to proof down our rye whiskey along with rose petal, orris root, cinnamon, clove, coriander, and Tahitian vanilla for added cherry aroma. Finally, we added smoked cardamom to mimic Martha’s baking spices. The result is a liqueur full of luscious cherry flavor, warm spice, and a deep smoky base with notes of leather and tobacco.

Art in the Age Cherry Bounce is available exclusively at the Art in the Age Tasting Room in Philadelphia.
