Alex Lukas was born in Boston, and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He makes ‘zines under the name Cantab Publishing and drawings under the name Alex Lukas. He has shown his drawings in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Stockholm as well as in the pages of Swindle Quarterly, The Village Voice, The Drama, The New York Times Book Review and Street World (Abrams, 2007). He has written (albeit poorly, “Hey, I went to art school.”) for Apenest, Juxtapoz, Providence’s The Agenda Newspaper and Swindle. He lives and tries not to work in Philadelphia where he is a newer member of Space 1026.
